A REPUTATION FORGED BY EXCELLENCE

More than just a hat, the Panama hat is the expression of ancestral know-how , timeless elegance, and exceptional material. Each piece tells the story of gestures passed down through generations and accompanies the wearer with lightness, refinement, and character.

Each piece is entirely handwoven according to a centuries-old artisanal tradition.

Contrary to popular belief, Panama hats do not come from Panama but from Ecuador, where they are made from the natural fibers of Carludovica Palmata, better known as toquilla straw.

Depending on the fineness of the weave, making a single hat can require several days, or even several weeks of work.

Each subtle irregularity testifies to the hand of the craftsman and gives your Panama its unique character.

Light and comfortable to wear, breathable thanks to its natural fibers, elegant in all circumstances, supple while maintaining excellent shape, ideal for sunny days, its thinness allows effective protection from the sun while allowing air to circulate naturally.

PRESERVE THE BEAUTY OF YOUR PANAMA

A Panama hat is a piece that lasts for years when it is carefully maintained.

Handle it gently.

Always pick up your hat by the brim rather than by the crown.

This practice helps to preserve the shape of the weave and prevent any deformation.

Avoid crushing it

Even though it looks flexible, a Panama hat is not designed to be folded or compressed.

Store it flat or on a suitable support when not being worn.

Let it dry naturally

In case of humidity or light rain, simply let your hat dry at room temperature.

Avoid all sources of direct heat (radiator, hair dryer or intense sunlight).

Toquilla straw is a natural fiber that thrives in a balanced environment.

If your Panama hat is stored in a very dry place for a long period of time, you can very slightly humidify the ambient air to help the fiber retain all its suppleness.

Cleaning

Use only a soft brush or a clean, slightly damp cloth.

Never use chemicals or detergents.

Guide de taille pour connaître son tour de tête

How do you measure your head circumference?

Take a flexible measuring tape. Place it: in the middle of your forehead, about 1 cm above your eyebrows; pass it just above your ears; continue to the most prominent part at the back of your skull (occipital protuberance); make sure the tape remains perfectly horizontal, without being too tight. The measurement obtained corresponds to your head circumference, expressed in centimeters.
